THE AMBUSH RECURVE
When I sat down to build this bow I knew I had my work cut out for me. Having decided to build a short recurve for ground blind, tree stand and still hunting I thought that if I could pull it off I would have a serious bow. The Ambush is that bow. At 50" nock to nock a medium high brace height and the ability to take a long draw this bow is serious business.
The basic AMBUSH will have a semi-fancy riser with black or brown glass
and a core of hard maple or action-boo. The full custom will have your
choice of riser wood and limb veneer, with clear glass.
The AMBUSH has speed and cast that will open your eyes wide, it shoots
where you look and delivers an arrow with authority down range. If you hunt
from a blind or tree stand or sneak along the bottoms, try the AMBUSH
recurve, It will make a believer out of you.
